Building Network Marketing Systems

Do you have systems set up to make your network marketing plan efficient? If not, you could be costing yourself and your business valuable capital that could be taken as profit or reinvested into the business. There are several sections of your mlm business that need to have systems, including: recruiting your downline and training your downline.

Recruiting Your Downline

When you are building your downline, you want to recruit within your ‘warm’ market and your ‘cold market’. In both markets, you want to create a marketing system that is consistent, telling your story and the story about your opportunity. Consider using an email autoresponder service like AWeber that does the work for you. AWeber will drip market your leads for you on an ongoing basis; you simply need to write the email content. If you are not confident in your writing skills, hire a ghostwriter.

In addition to emails, consider offering free e-books, free reports, free ezines and articles that provide information about the benefits of the network marketing opportunity. Include information as well as quality testimonials to build trust over time. Most readers will not click or sign up the first time that they read material. So, be sure to offer long term, consistent marketing messages.

When you are marketing to your cold market, you will need to have more of a punch to get the lead. Your main objective is to bring in new lead possibilities. For this, you will need great squeeze pages on your website to capture the visitor’s email and name for later marketing purposes. There are many marketing techniques that you can use to draw visitors to your squeeze page.

Some of the most effective marketing strategies to draw visitors to your squeeze page are blog postings, forum postings and article marketing. When you post blog material on other people’s websites, you are creating the opportunity to build credibility for yourself and your network marketing business. The more frequently that you can post and the quality of your material will determine how many clicks you get onto your squeeze page. When possible, use text links, affiliate links or a resource box with your URL to encourage direct links from the written piece to your squeeze page.

When you write original blog postings, also consider submitting them to blog carnivals for an increased distribution. Blog carnivals are similar to an online magazine, grouping similar blog content together for distribution to a specific audience. Look for blog carnivals that fit your demographic to submit your material to.

You can also use forum posts to draw attention to your squeeze page. Not all forums will allow you to include direct links or resource boxes so be sure to read the site rules before you begin to post material. The keys to forum posts are similar to blog posts; post frequently, include content rich material and when possible include direct links to your squeeze page.

When you write articles, the content needs to be rich in value and enticing to get the reader to click on a link that you provide. Article marketing can also be used to draw SEO attention to your website.

Each of these cold marketing techniques will help you to build your lead list for your network marketing company. You can use this lead list for both recruiting downline members and for product sales when used effectively and consistently.

Training Your Downline

Building your downline is one of the most important skills to have in network marketing, but if you cannot retain the members, you are just spinning your wheels. When you add new downline members, you have to provide training opportunities and resources for them so that they can become successful. When they are successful, they will retain for the long term, and will help you to build an even bigger downline. How do you provide training and what type of training should you provide for your network marketing business?

You must install training systems for your network marketing downline as you will not be able to personally train every member yourself. Your website will be one of your greatest network marketing tools. You can provide mini article series, podcasts and webinar trainings, articles and blog posts that will be valuable information for the downline members.

Develop a regular training system to be rolled out whenever a new downline member is added. Determine what training material will be provided and use automatic email systems to make sure that the material is consistently delivered to the downline members If you try to do it manually, you will likely miss steps. Also, provide ongoing training following the initial training programs so that your downline members are receiving value at all times. Always research what other network marketing companies are doing and providing in the way of training to make sure that you remain competitive in the market.
