Building a Successful Downline- Use Relationships

Are you authentic in your daily actions as multi level marketer? If you are looking to build your current MLM downline, there are several things to consider to ensure your overall levels of success. Relationships with your downline are one of the most important things to consider in forming a successful business strategy.

Teach Your DownlineSome MLM business owners have given the industry a bad name as they approach everything with a “hard sales” approach. While this can be effective in the short term, most successful MLM business owners are effective at building a personal relationship with the majority of their downline members as well as they are fantastic at building relationships with potential new recruits. If you are able to focus on what people are really hoping to accomplish in the business venture, you will have an easier time attracting new recruits and your current downline members will be more likely to stay with you for the long term.

Replicate Yourself in your Downline

One of the reasons that many downline members join the opportunity is because of you and your successes. A key to success in MLM marketing is your ability to replicate your own successes in your dowline. Imagine being able to clone 100 of you in your MLM opportunity! If you are willing and able to teach your downline members how to truly become successful in the opportunity, in return, you will become more successful.

When someone in your downline has mastered the same levels of success as you they will seek to find others to do the same with, hence creating a larger and larger downline for you over time. The best way to teach others in your downline is to truly understand the goals and needs of each member; ask questions and take notes so that you can assist each person on as personal of a level as possible. As a great MLM partner, teach your downline what they need to become successful. Teaching someone else what they need to do to achieve their personal goals is one of the greatest gifts we can give.

Ask for Referrals

The key to any successful business is referrals. When you create happy customers and happy downline members, ask for referrals. People give referrals when they are pleased, and in the MLM business, referrals equal revenues. Your goal is to build as many relationships as possible, taking into consideration meeting the needs of every person that you come into contact with. Being authentic in your interactions combined with relationship building as outlined above will help you to build your downline quickly with qualified individuals instead of just warm bodies.
