Mlm Forums - Tips

If your involved with mlm and network marketing, you are going to need a constant supply of leads to market your business to and the way I do this is by using mlm forums.

If you go to Google and type in mlm forums, or network marketing forums then go to the forums that you find.

The next thing you should do is spend a bit of time looking around the forum. Are there any rules you should be aware of? Start to get familiar with the site, the topics and the various members etc.

There is usually a section in the forum for introductions, so sign yourself up as a member and post and introduction and say hi to the members.

Now, the biggest problem people have when they are promoting themselves on forums is that the sole purpose of being on the forum is to leave the link to their website. This is the biggest mistake you can do.

The correct way to do it is to become active on the forum for atleast 2 weeks, post 1-2 posts per day and build up a relationship with the other members. Start to learn about your topic by reading other posts and add value to the posts when you reply.

Once you have about 20 posts on the forum, and have built up some friends, you can then add a link to your signature. Keep it simple, and dont make it too salesy.

Basically, the link is a little extra for people to find out more about you and to see what else you are doing.

If you post your signature too early in the forum, people will think that is the only reason you are there and will become very wary of you, so be careful.

You should only do forum marketing if you are going to add value to the forum and help out the other members etc. Do not make the mistake of adding links to your site or signature too early as people will start to become suspicious of you.
